Working
with DESIREE

Each session is designed to feel comfortable, supportive, and thoughtfully guided from start to finish. We begin with time to settle in and warm up, allowing the dancer to move freely and get comfortable in the space before we start shooting.
From there, we’ll talk through the dancer’s strengths—what movements feel the most confident, what styles showcase them best, and how they like to express themselves through dance. A photoshoot isn’t the time to try something brand new; instead, the focus is on bringing forward their strongest, most natural movement so the images feel authentic, confident, and true to who they are as a dancer.
Throughout the session, we’ll move at a steady, relaxed pace. Dancers will change outfits one to three times (unless discussed in advance), with breaks built in as needed. We’ll continue checking in along the way to make sure they feel comfortable, confident, and supported.
Parents are always welcome to be involved at whatever level feels right to them. This is not a “drop-off” session—it’s meant to be a shared experience. My goal is for both the dancer and parent to feel included, relaxed, and excited throughout the process.
Above all, these sessions are meant to be memorable and fun while building confidence and trust. We finish on a high note—with energy, laughter, and a sense of accomplishment. Within 72 hours, you’ll receive a proofing gallery to select the images you’d like professionally edited.
